HomeMy WebLinkAboutJanuary 15, 1974 Council Chambers 250 Fast Pine Street Central Point, OR January 15, 1974 The Central Point Planning Commission meeting was-called to order by Chairman Bowers at 7:40 P.M. Members present were banks, Bradshaw, Holbrook, McManama and Wegs. Absent were members Morrison, Zieser and Curry. Also in attendance was Jo Funderburgh of the Mail Tribune, correspondent. The Minutes of-the Regular meeting of December 18, 1973 and the Special Meeting of January 7, 1974 were approved as written. , The Commission, at this time, deferred the election-,of officers for this year' (1974) until the next regular meeting scheduled for February 19, 1974. .; qN New'Mem1bers to the Commission are Del Curry and Holbrook who were also appointed to the Subdivision Committee to replace Hull and Mayes. Bill Morrison was appointed to_the.;Mobile Home Committee. Under !Old Business" the commission discussed setting a public hearing on the Eudora Bohnert Lydiard requested zone change from an R-1 (Residential-Single Family) to R-F (.Residential-Fain) zone. The hearing date was set for February 19, 1974 at 7:30 P.M. Under Miscellaneous- It was brought 'to' the Commission's attention that the request for a conditional use permit for a home occupation by Wayne Hughes, 554 Bush Street had been withdrawn at this time, temporarily, because of the energy -crisis. No action was required by the Commission. There were no. Committee Reports presented. The Commission held a general discussion which 'required no action by this body. Motion to adjourn was made by Member Ranks, seconded, by;Member Wegs. With all in favor, motion carried . Meeting adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
