A RESOLUTION OFTHE CENTRAL POINT DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
ADOPTING THE 2026/2027 BUDGET, MAKING APPROPRIATIONS, AND
DECLARING TAX INCREMENT
WHEREAS, the Budget Committee of the Development Commission of the City
of Central Point, Oregon, has approved a proposed budget for the fiscal year
commencing July 1, 2026; and
WHEREAS, at a meeting of the Central Point Development Commission held on
June 11, 2026, the Development Commission held a public hearing on said approved
budget after giving notice thereof as provided by statute;
The Central Point Development Commission resolves as follows:
Section 1. The budget for fiscal year 2026–27, totaling $4,471,000.00, is hereby
adopted following a public hearing on June 11, 2026. This budget is now on file at the
City of Central Point Finance Office, 140 South Third Street, Central Point, OR 97502.
Section 2. The amounts for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 202 6, and for the purposes
shown below, are appropriated:
GENERAL FUND
Personal Services $0
Materials & Services $71,500
Capital Outlay $125,000
Debt Service $1,255,500
Contingency $100,000
Ending Fund Balance $2,919,500
TOTAL GENERAL FUND $4,471,000
Section 3. The Board of Directors hereby certifies to the County Assessor for the
Central Point Development Commission a request for the Downtown & East Pine Street
Corridor Revitalization Plan Area for the maximum amount of revenue that may be
raised by dividing the taxes under Section 1c, Article IX, of the Oregon Constitution and
ORS Chapter 457.
The above resolution statements were approved and declared adopted on thi s
11th day of June, 2026.
