RESOLUTION NO. 1866
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE LOWEST QUALIFIED BID FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF CREST-VISTA WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT
TO EXPRESS EXCAVATION, LLC, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT.
RECITALS:
A. WHEREAS, the City recently published a solicitation for the lowest bids
for the construction of the Crest-Vista Waterline Replacement Project.
B. WHEREAS, the City received nine qualified bids.
C. WHEREAS, the lowest bid was submitted by Express Excavation,
LLC. for $490,378.00.
The City of Central Point resolves as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby accepts the lowest bid from
Express Excavation, LLC in the amount of $490,378.00 for the construction of
the Crest-Vista Waterline Replacement Project.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract and
any related documents necessary to effectuate the acceptance of this award in a
form substantially the same as that included in the specifications.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage and approval.
Passed by the Council and signed by me in authentication of its passage
this 28th day of May, 2026.
