No. 1851 City Council Meeting 10/9/25 1 RESOLUTION NO. 1851 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THAT REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT WITH ROGUE VALLEY COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS FOR REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 399 SOUTH FIFTH STREET (MAP NO. 372W11BB TAX LOTS 6300 & 8200) AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT Recitals: A. The City of Central Point owns real property located on 399 South Fifth Street, commonly referred to as Map No. 372W11BB, Tax Lots 6300 and 8200 which is the location of the former Public Works Corporation Yard (the “Subject Property”). B. The Subject Property had been leased to Pathways for the last several years. Pathways provided written notice to terminate the lease and has exited the Subject Property. C. RVCOG reached out to the City to purchase the Subject Property for its Meals on Wheels program and other related uses. D. The City Council determined that the Subject Property is not needed for municipal public use and that is in the public interest to sell the Subject Property to RVCOG as authorized by CPMC 2.40.120.1 per Resolution No. 1847 and directed staff to negotiate the sale agreement for the appraised value. E. Staff has negotiated a Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement with RVCOG, based upon the appraised value of the Property for $1,050,000.00. The City of Central Point resolves as follows: Section 1. The Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement with RVCOG in substantially the form attached hereto is hereby approved. Section 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement. Section 3.
