RESOLUTION NO. GZQI
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR THE NORTH 10TH STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT
WITH RH2 ENGINEERING,INC.
RECITALS:
A. WHEREAS,the City of Central Point intends to improve the section of North 10th
Street between Hazel Street and Lathrop Drive to enhance pedestrian safety, ADA
compliance, stormwater management, and overall connectivity;
B. WHEREAS,the City conducted a Qualifications-Based Selection(QBS)process in
accordance with public procurement requirements and received proposals from RH2
Engineering, Inc. and ZCS Engineering&Architecture;
C. WHEREAS, RH2 Engineering, Inc. received the highest score in the QBS evaluation
and was selected as the most qualified firm to perform the design services;
D. WHEREAS,the City and RH2 Engineering, Inc. have agreed to a Professional
Services Agreement in an amount not to exceed $221,871 for the design, coordination,
and bid preparation for the North 10th Street Improvements Project.
THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the Professional Services Agreement with
RH2 Engineering, Inc. for the North 10th Street Improvements Project.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the agreement and any related
documents necessary to carry out the intent of this resolution.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval.
