A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOWEST QUALIFIED BID FROM PILOT ROCK
EXCAVATION, INC., FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MOORE FAMILY FIELDS —
PHASE 3 PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT
RECITALS:
A. WHEREAS, the City recently solicited 3 local companies for the lowest bid for
constructing the Moore Family Fields Phase 3 Project.
B. WHEREAS, the City received 1 qualified bid.
C. WHEREAS, the lowest qualified bid was submitted by Pilot Rock Excavation,
Inc., with a base bid of$382,547.00, a bid alternate of$79,710.00. Total bid
$462,257.00.
The City of Central Point resolves as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby accepts the lowest qualified bid from
Pilot Rock Excavation, Inc., for$462,257.00 to construct the Moore Family Fields—
Phase 3 Project.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract and any
related documents necessary to effectuate the acceptance of this award in a form
substantially the same as that included in the specifications.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage and
approval.
