Resolution Adopting the 2025 Revised Official Compensation Package for Public
Officials — Effective June 1, 2025
RECITALS:
1. ORS 244.040 requires the City to adopt an official compensation package for any
benefits provided to City Officials, including employees and elected and appointed
volunteers.
2. The City desires to provide occasional meals, snacks or beverages of de minimis value
to employees and volunteers for attendance at meetings which occur over meal hours,
training, and/or at special City events as well as benefits that may be associated with the
City's sponsorship of local events.
3. The City desires that such meals, snacks and/or beverages, or other sponsorship
benefits be part of the official compensation package for employees and elected and
appointed volunteers which is consistent with the City's goals to encourage
volunteerism, and to cultivate a meaningful culture within the workplace.
The City of Central Point resolves as follows:
Section 1. The 2025 revised Official Compensation Package for public officials, which is
incorporated in the Personnel Policies of the City of Central Point, as attached, is hereby ratified
and adopted.
Passed by the Council and signed by me in authentication of its passage this I Z_ day
