A RESOLUTION ADOPTING INCREMENTAL INCREASES TO PARKS MAINTENANCE
FEE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2025 AND JULY 1, 2026
RECITALS:
WHEREAS,the Parks Maintenance Fee was adopted in 2015.
WHEREAS, since its inception there have been two fee increases; one to account for
new maintenance requirements for the Bear Creek Greenway and Central Point
Cemetery and a second in 2023 to address a 35%increase to the Consumer Price
Index.
WHEREAS,the City Council finds that additional increases are necessary to offset
increased costs for parks maintenance.
The City of Central Point resolves as follows:
SECTION 1. Council hereby approves and authorizes incremental increases to the
Parks Maintenance Fee Schedule as provided below:
Type of Use Existing Fee New Fee as of 7-1-25
Residential Unit $2.50 $3.00
Multiple Family Unit $1.15 $1.65
(for each separate dwelling
unit within the multiple-
family unit on that parcel)
Nonresidential Unit $2.50 $3.00
Type of Use Existing Fee New Fee as of 7-1-26
Residential Unit $3.00 $3.50
Multiple Family Unit $1.65 $2.15
(for each separate dwelling
unit within the multiple-
family unit on that parcel)
Nonresidential Unit $3.00 $3.50

SECTION 2.The City Recorder is authorized to correct any cross references and any
