HomeMy WebLinkAboutCouncil Resolution 1306RESOLUTION No. ~~~ A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A SUPPLEMENTAL BU®GET FOR THE 2010/11 FISCAL YEAR RECITALS: A. The City of Central Point's High Tech Crime Unit (HTCU) received an unanticipated donation of $2,500 from the City of Roseburg, Oregon. This donation was given to the HTCU for the purpose of purchasing equipment to assist the HTCU in fighting crime. This is the second unanticipated donation received and added to HTCU budget appropriations this fiscal year. B. In the Capital Improvement Fund, the appropriation of $46,000 for debt service is reclassified from "Developer Obligation" expense line item of $50,000 to a "Transfer Out" expense line item. This will reduce the Developer Obligation appropriation to $4,000, and provide for the transfer of $46,000 to the Debt Service Fund for payment on the Don Jones Park debt service as originally intended during the budget process. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON, to amend the 2010/11 budget in accordance with ORS. 294.480. As such, the budget changes will appear as follows: Section 1. General Fund -High Tech Crime Unit Donations 28 500 Total Revised High Tech Crime Unit Resources $ 31,000 General Fund -Police/High Tech Crime Unit Expense 48 500 Total Revised Requirements $ 51,000 With the addition of the $2,500 donation, the High Tech Crime Unit budgeted revenue is increased from $28,500 to $31,000; and the HTCU appropriated expenses are increased from $48,500 to $51,000. Section 2. CIP Fund -Developer Obligation 50 000 Total Revised Developer Obligation $4,000 CIP Fund -Total Revised Transfer Out 46 000 This revision is a reclassification only and does not increase or decrease budget appropriations.
