A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE PROVISION OF MUNICIPAL
SERVICES BY THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON
Recitals:
ORS 221.760 provides that in order for cities located within counties with population over
100,000 to receive state revenues from cigarette, gas and liquor taxes, the State must be
satisfied that the City provides certain municipal services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT
OREGON that the City of Central Point resolves to hereby certify that it provides to its citizens
the following municipal services:
• Police protection
• Street construction, maintenance and lighting
• Storm sewers
• Planning, zoning and subdivision control
• Water utilities
