A RESOLUTION TEMPORARILY CLOSING CITY HALL TO THE PUBLIC
RECITALS:
A. Multiple cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been detected in the state
of Oregon, with at least two identified cases in Jackson County.
B. The Governor of the State of Oregon has declared a state of emergency
relating to COVID-19 in the State of Oregon.
C. COVID-19 was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on
March 11, 2020.
D. The City desires to reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19 to better
protect its employees and the public by closing City Hall to the public until April "Rk,
2020, but may be extended further.
The City of Central Point resolves as follows:
Section 1. The City Manager is here�y authorized to close City Hall to the public
effective immediately through April 3�, 2020.
Section 2. The City Manager is further authorized to extend the closure of City Hall in
two week increments with written notice to the City Council.
Section 3. The City Manager is directed to post such closures on the City's website,
and at City Hall.
