A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE ANNEXATION
OF 0.67 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF
GRANT ROAD, AND NORTH OF BEALL LANE
INTO THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON
(Applicant(s): Brian & Jane Marie Poppa

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT,
OREGON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Application has been made by the owners of certain real property for
annexation into the City of Central Point, Oregon. The property consists of one tax lot and
road right-of-way totaling approximately 0.67 acres. The property to be annexed is more
particularly described as follows:
Lot 1, Diamond Center Subdivision, according to the official plat thereof, now of record
in Jackson County, Oregon.
ALSO: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 1, Diamond Center Subdivision,
according to the official plat thereof, now of record in Jackson County, Oregon, thence
South 75°20'20" West, 30.00 feet to the centerline of Grant Road; thence South
14°39'40" East, along said centerline (Plat Record South 14°44'30" East), a distance of
131.07 feet to a point bearing South 75°20'20" West, at right angles to and 30.00 feet
distant from the southwest corner of said described Lot 1; thence North 75°20'20" West,
30.00 feet to said southwest corner of Lot 1; thence North 14°39'40" West, 131.07 feet
(Plat Record North 14°44'30" West, 130.97 feet) to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing 33,293 square feet (0.764 acres), more or less.
The above described property is not within the City of Central Point's
Current corporate boundaries, but is contiguous to the City's existing corporate boundary
and is within the Central Point Urban Growth Boundary (UGB).
Section 2. The owners of the property proposed for annexation are Brian and Jane
Marie Poppa, and there is mutual consent to the annexation. Such written consent is on
file at Central Point City Hall, 155 South Second Street, Central Point, Oregon.
Section 3.ORS 222.125 provides that when all of the owners of land in the territory
proposed for annexation and not less than 50% of the electors residing in such territory
have consented in writing to the annexation of the land in the territory and file such written
consent with the City Council, the property may be annexed without the requirement for an
election or a public hearing.
