A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SETBACK VARIANCE

Recitals
This matter came before the Planning Commission for hearing
on May 20, 1997, on applicant's application for a variance.
Applicant requested approval of a rear yard setback of 7 feet
instead of the required 15 feet in an R-1 zoning district at 412
South Central Valley Drive. The variance is requested far an
attached 575 square foot shop. The Planning Cnmmission reviewed
the application and the City staff report, and received comments
from all persons wishing to be heard in favor of and opposed to
the application.
Now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CENTRAL POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Criteria A livable to Decision. The following
chapters of the Central Point Municipal Cade apply to this
application:
A. Chapter 17.2x, R--1, Residential Single-Family District;
B. Chapter 17.8x, Variances.
Section 2. Findings and Conclusions. The Planning
Commission hereby adapts by reference all findings of fact set
forth in the City staff reports, and concludes that applicant has
demonstrated compliance with the requirements of CPMC Chapter
17.8x, pertaining to variances.
Section 3. Variance Granted. Applicant is hereby granted
approval far the requested variance consisting of a 7 foot rear
yard setback instead of the required 15 foot setback at 412 South
Central Valley Drive for an attached shop.
