A RESOLUTION GRANTING SETBACK VARIANCES

Recitals
This matter came before the Planning Commission for hearing
on May 20, 1997, on applicant's application for a variance.
Applicant requested variances to the front and rear yard setbacks
for a single-family residence at 448 Laurel Street in an R-2
district. Applicant seeks approval for a twelve and one-half
foot front yard setback and a three feet, nine inch rear yard
setback. The Planning Commission reviewed the application and the
City staff report, and received comments from all persons wishing
to be heard in favor of and opposed to the application.
Now, therefore;
BF IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CENTRAL POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Criteria A licable to Decision. The following
chapters of the Central Point Municipal Code apply to this
application:
A. Chapter 17.24, Residential Two-Family District;
B. Chapter 17.80, Variances.
Section 2. Findinc,~s and Conclusions. The Planning
Commission hereby adopts by reference all findings of fact set
forth in the City staff reports, and concludes that applicant has
demonstrated compliance with the requirements of CPMC Chapter
17.80, pertaining to variances.
Section 3. Variance Granted. Applicant is hereby granted
approval for the requested variance consisting of: a front yard
setback of twelve and one-half feet instead of the required
twenty feet; and a rear yard setback of three feet, nine inches
instead of the required ten feet.
Passed by the Planning Commission and signed by me in
