PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. !~-;~'1 A RESOLUTION DENYING A VARIANCE (Applicant: Henry G. McCullough) ( 37 2W 03DD, Tax Lot 700) Recitals This matter camL before the Planning Commission far hearing on September 16, 1997, on applicant's application far a variance. Applicant requested approval for construction of an awning that would violate the 20-foot sideyard setback requirement for sideyards with a driveway. Applicant proposed a 6-foot setback. The Planning Commissinn reviewed the application and the City staff report, and reCeiVEd comments from all persons wishing to be heard in favor of and opposed to the application. Now, therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Criteria Applicable to Decision. The follow~.ng chapters of the Central Paint Municipal. Cade apply to this application: A. Chapter 1.7.28, R-3, Residential Multi-Family District; B. Chapter 17.80, Variances. Sect3nn 2. Findinc~s_and Conclusions. The Planning Commission concludes that applicant has not demonstrated compliance with the requirements of CPMC Chapter 1.7.80, pertaining to variances. Section 3. Variance Denied. Applicant is hereby denied approval for the requested variance.
