HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 414 - Norris Variancel~ C~,rr~~ ~~ {'~,,,1 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. ~~-7 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE (Applicant: Pamela Norris} (37 2W 1.lAC, Tax Lot 2800) Recitals This matter came before the Planning Commission for hearing on February 17, 1998, on applicant's application far a variance. Applicant requested a side-yard setback variance to allow construction of a second story addition to her residence at a setback of eight feet, four inches, instead of the required ten feet. The Planning Commission reviewed the application and 'c he City staff reportr and received comments from all persons wishing to be heard in favor of and opposed to the application. Now, therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION 0~' THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 Criteria Applicable to Decision. The following chapters of the Central Point Municipal Code apply to this application: A. Chapter 17.2D, R-1, Residential Single_Family District; B. Chapter 17.80, Variances. Section 2. Findings and Conclusions. The Planning Commission hereby adopts by reference all findings of fact set forth in the City staff reports, and concludes that applicant has demonstrated compliance with the requirements of CPMC Chapter 17.80, pertaining to variances. Section 3. Variance Granted. Applicant is hereby granted approval for the requested variance consisting of an eight foot, four inch side-yard setback for the second-story addition to the residence at 1115 Rose Valley Drive.
