HomeMy WebLinkAboutMayor MagruderMr. Magruder came to Central Point, Oregon in 1$68. He built the first store building in the
area. Later in 1884 he allowed the Downing brothers to establish and hold a Bible School in this
building without charging them rent. Mr. Magruder was the first Mayor of Central Point. His
death was the result of a horse and wagon accident.
