PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 431
A RESOLU'T'ION CONDITIONALLY APPROVING
A SITE PLAN APPLICA"1ryION AND SIDE YAT~D VARIANCE

Recitals
1. This matter came before the Planning Commission for hearing on September 1,1998; on
applicant's site plan application far the addition of a new City shop building and the zelocatioz~/rezrzodel of
existing buildings that are part of the City's public works yard located at 399 South 5th Street izx an R-1,
Residential Single-Fami ly district of the City. The proposed placement of the new building requires a
variance from the City's side yard setback. The Plazuung Commission reviewed the application and the City
staffreports, and received comzrzents from aII persons wishing to be heard in favor of and opposed to the
application.
Now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION Op' THE CITY OF CENTRAL
POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Criteria Applicable to Decision. The following chapters of the Central Point
Municipal Code apply to this application:
A. Chapter 17.20, R-1 Residential Single Family District
B. Chapter 17,60, General Regulations;
G Chapter 17.64, Off-Street Parking and Loading;
D. Chapter 17.72, Site Plan, Landscaping and Construction Plan Approval.
Section. 2. Findings and Conclusions. The Planning Commission hereby adopts by
reference all finding of fact set forth in the City staff repozts, and concludes that, except where addressed
in the conditions to approval, the application and proposal comply with the regzzirements of the above
mentioned chapters of the Central Point Municipal Code.
Section 3 . Conditional Approval. The applications for site plan review azld side yard vat7ance
are hereby conditionally approved, subj ect to the conditions set forth on Exhibit "A", which is attached
hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
