Applicant requested a variance from the two car off-street covered parking regriirezllent to allow tl~e conversio~i of the existing garage to living space far a disabled child. The Planniz-zg Commission reviewed the appl ication and the City staff reports, and received comments from al l persons wishing to be heard in favor of and opposed to the application. Now, therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY Or CENTRAL POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Criteria A Iicable to Decision. The following chapters of the Central Point Municipal Code apply to this application: A. Chapter 17.20, R-l, Residential Single-Fazxzily District; B. Chapter 17.80, Variances. Section 2. Findin sand Conclusions. The Planning Commission hereby adopts by reference all findings of fact set fozth in the City staff reports, and concludes that the applicant has demonstrated compliance with the requirements of CPMC Chapter 17.80, pertaining to variances. Section 3. Variance Granted. Approval is hereby granted for a request to vazy from the City's two car off street covered parking requiren~.ent in order to convert a garage into additional living area. A deed restriction will be prepared by the City Attorney and recorded by the applicants stating that if the house is sold to anyone not requiring wheelchair accessibility, the variance will be extinguished and offstreet covered parking restored on site. This property is located at 5035 Crestwood Drive.
