Recitals
This matter came before t11e Planning Commissio~~ for hearing on April 20, 1999, on
applicant's application for a fence variance. Applicant requested to vary from fence
requirements izx order to retain adequate secuz•ity for a recreational vehicle storage facility.
The Planning Commission reviewed the application and the City staff reports, and received
coz~nments fi-on•z all persons wishing to be heard in favor of and opposed to the application.
Now, thez•efore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISMON OF TI-IC CITY OF
CENTRAL POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS;
Section l . Criteria Applicable to Decision. The following chapters of the Central
Point Municipal Code apply to this application:

B. Chapter 15.20.x80, Fence Variances
C. Chapter 17.20.010, Residential Multiple-Family District
S__ection 2. Findings and Conclusions. The Planning Commission hereby adopts
by reference all finding of fact sot foz•th in the City staff reports, and concludes that applicant
Izas demonstrated compliance with the requirements of CPMC Chapter 17.80, pez•taining to
variances.
Section 3. Variance Granted. The Commission hereby grants the requested
variance consisting of an additional one foot section. of barbed wire making the fence height
seven feet, with barbed wiz•e cones at the corners of the fence around the recreational vehicle
storage area, and razor wire to be removed and barbed wire to be installed on the 8 to I2 foot
long chain link section between the Meadows property and the neighbors property.
