This matter came before fire I'la~rni~rg Commission for hearing on lk~~ 201, on
applicant's application for a vaz-iazrce. Applicant requested that the Planning Co~rzzrrissio~r modify
a previously approved Plazrncd Uzrit Develop~rrent, moving the 100-year floodpIaizr from the whole
development to its boundaries as indicated ozr the Federal Ezrrergezrcy Managezrrent Agency, I~`lood
Insurance Rate Maps. The Planning Cozrrzrzission reviewed the application and fire City staff reports,
and received comments from all persons wishing to be heard in favor of and apposed to the
application.
Now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CEN'T'RAL
POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Criteria Applicable to Decision. The following chapters of the Central Point
Municipal Code apply to this application:
A. Chapter 8.24; Flood Damage azrd Hazard Mitigation
Section 2. Findin sand Conclusions. The Planning Commission hereby adopts by
reference all fording of fact set forth in the City staff reports, and concludes that applicant has
demonstrated compliance with the requirements of CPMC Chapter 8.24, pertaining to Tlood
mitigation.
Section 3. Modification Granted. Appliance is hereby granted appz•oval foz• the requested
modification consisting ofmovizrg the 100-year floodplain to what is indicated on the FEMA Flood
Insurance Rate Maps. Lot 17 in Phase 1, and alI of Phase 2 of the Miller Estates PUD are considered
in the 100 year floodplain of Griffin Creek.
