HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 522 - Grizell Variance~{ !~ ~~ PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLU"PION NO. 522 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE (Applicant: Ryan Gricll) (372WlODB, Tax Lot $203) Recitals This matter came before the Planning Commission for hearing on July 17, 2001, on applicant's application for a variance. Applicant requested a variance from the ten foot setback that the municipal code requires betweezi a building foundation and swimming pools. The PIanning Commission reviewed the application and the City staff reports, and received comments front all persons wishing to be heard in favor of a~ld opposed to the application. Now, therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Criteria Applicable to Decision. The following chapters ofthe Central Point Municipal Code apply to this application: A. Chapter 17.20.010 R-1, Residential Single Family District; B. Chapter 17.80, Variances. C. Chapter 15.22, Privately Owned Swimming Pools ~ectian 2. Fin.ding;s and Conclusions. The Planning Commission hereby adopts by reference all finding of fact set foz-th in the City staff reports, and concludes that applicant has demonstrated compliance with the z'equirements of CPMC Chapter 17.80, pertaining to variances. Section 3. Variance Granted. Appliance is hereby granted approval for the requested variance consisting of a setback of six feet from the edge of water of the pool to the patio and a six feet setback from the detached shop to the edge of water of the pool.
