This matter came before the Planning Commission for heaz•ing on August 6, 2002, an applicant's
application for a v2u fiance. Applicant(s) requested a fence variance. The Planning Coznmissian reviewed
the application and the City staff reports, and received comments from all persons wishing to be heard in
favor of and opposed to the application.
Now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL
POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Criteria Applicable to Decision. The following chapters of the Central Point
Municipal Code apply to this application:
A. Chapter 15.20.040; Fence Height on Lots
B. Chapter 15.20.080; Fence Variances
C. Chapter 17.24.010; R-2, Residential Two-Family District
Section 2. Findings and Conclusions. The Planning Commission hereby adopts by reference
all finding of fact set foz•th in the City staff reports dated August 6, 2002 and concludes that applicants}has
demonstrated compliance with the requirements of CPMC Chapter 17.80, pez•taining to variances.
Section 3. Variance Granted. Applicant (s) is hereby granted approval for the requested
variance consisting of a fence variance for 2' (two-foot) high lattice on the rear portion of fence only, at
2603, 2606, 2646, 2762, 2770, 2778, 2786, and 2794 Parkwoad Village Drive, Map Number
372W01 BC. A 2' (two foot} side fence extension may be constructed at 2606, and 2786 Parkwood
Village Drive. All other applicants of this fence variance have the option, if zeviewed and approved by a
case by case basis by city staff for additional side fence extensions.
