PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 58'1
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENT TO AMEND THE CITY'S ZONING TEXT
ZONING MAP AND COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO INCLUDE PARKS & OPEN SPACE,
AND CIVIC ZONING DESIGNATIONS ON CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED THROUGH
OUT THE CITY.
On August 19, 2003, the Central Point Planning Commission conducted aduly-noticed public
hearing on the proposed Comprehensive Plan, Zane Text and Zone Map Aznendznents, at
which time it reviewed the City staff report and heard public testimony and comments.
Now, therefore:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL
POINT, OREGON, that it is the Commission's intent to initiate amendments to the City's Zoning Text,
Zoning Map and Comprehensive Land Use Plan so as to include the Parks & Open space and Civic
zoning categories throughout the City. The Commission recognizes the importance of creating park and
civic designations as these activities are vital to present and future citizens.
Passed by the Planning Commission and signed by me in authentication of its passage this 19'x`
day of August, 2003.
