Roll call found: BSgham,Colley, Saxbury,Setness, Absent: Chisum,Patterson. ' A motion was made by Setness, second by Colley, that the paving jobs on North Second,Pine to Hazel, and Cherry Street, 4th to 7th be accepted and a protested warrant be drawn in the amount of J11,840.98 for the Rogue River Paving Company. The balance of $3,084.94 shall be paid out of the State Tax Street Fund as the City Share. Total cost of North Second,Pine to Hazel was$9,810.15• Cherry Street, - 4th to 7th was $3,670.10. Motion carried. - Ord. #507 was read by Mayor Mason,this being an Ordinance providing for the approval and adoption of plans and specifications for the paving of and construction of curbs on South Second Street from Bush to South City Limits of the City of Central Point. A motion was made by Bigham,Secund by Saxbury; that the Ord. #507 be adopted. Roll call vote: Ayes; Bigham,Colley,Saxbury,Setness. Nays; none. Ord. #507 was declared duly adopted. 1 Ord. 08 was read by Mayor Mason,this being an Ord., for declaring EK;Council's intent to cause the construction of curbs on and paving of South Second Street from Bush Street to the South City Limits of the City of Central Point. A motion was made by Setness, second by Saxbury, that the Ord. #508 be adopted. Roll call vote: Ayes; Bigham, Saxbury, Setness, Colley. Nays; none. Ord. #508 was declared duly adopted. Mayor Mason appointed Mr. Ivan Hale, as building inspector. A motion was made by Colley, second by Setness, that the appointment be approved. Motion carried. An Appeals Board of three (3) members: Vic Noel, Frank Bruce, and Tom Phelps, was appointed by Mayor Mason. A motion was made by Set- ness, second by Saxbury that the Board be accepted. Motion carried. A motion was made by Setness,second by Colley, that we accept the plans and specifications and grade as established for South Second Street,Pine to Bush, and to call for construction of concrete curbs. A motion was made by Saxbury, second by Bigham, that All streets be 36 feet between curbs. Motion carried.
