RESOLUTION NO ,~~
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE ANNEXATION
OF 7.11 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF VILAS ROAD AND
WEST OF TABLE ROCK ROAD, INTO THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON
(Applicant(s): Dale Clark and Dennis &Sailee Patterson
(37 2W 01 BA; TL 500 & 700)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT,
OREGON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Application has been made by the owners of certain real property for
annexation into the City of Central Point, Oregon. The property consists of two tax lots and
road right-of-way totaling approximately 7.11 acres. The property to be annexed is more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the North one-quarter corner of Section 1, Township 37 South,
Range 2 West, Willamette Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon; thence WEST, along
the North line of said Section 1, 682.64 feet to the Northerly prolongation
of the East line of that tract described in Document No. 2005-030020,
Official Records of Jackson County, Oregon and the true point of beginning;
thence SOUTH, along said East line and Northerly prolongation, 957.00 feet to
the Southeast corner of said tract; thence WEST, along the South line thereof
and the South line of that tract described in Document No. 92-08820, said
Official Records, 339 feet, more or less, to the Southwest corner of said
tract described in Document No. 92-08820; thence NORTH, along the West line
thereof and its Northerly prolongation, 957.00 feet to the North line of said
Section 1; thence East, along said North line, 105 feet, more or less, to the
Northerly prolongation of the West line of that tract described in Document
No. 81-10456, said Official Records; thence SOUTH, along said West line and
Northerly prolongation, 160 feet to the Southwest corner of said tract;
thence EAST, along the South line thereof, 92 feet to the West line of that
tract described in Document No. 2005-030020, said Official Records; thence
NORTH, along the West line of said tract and its Northerly prolongation, 160
feet to the North line of said Section 1; thence EAST, along said North line,
136.27 feet to the true point of beginning. Containing 7.11 acres, more or
less.
The above described property is not within the City of Centre
Current corporate boundaries, but is contiguous to the City's existing corporate t
and is within the Central Point Urban Growth Boundary (UGB).
Section 2. The owners of the property proposed for annexation ~'
Dennis and Sailee Patterson, and there is mutual consent to the anne.
consent is on file at Central Point City Hall, 140 S. Third Street, Centre

Section 3.ORS 222.125 provides that when all of the owners of land in the territory
proposed for annexation and not less than 50% of the electors residing in such territory
have consented in writing to the annexation of the land in the territory and file such written
consent with the City Council, the property may be annexed without the requirement for an
election or a public hearing.
Section 4. Annexation of the described property is consistent with the City's ability
to provide facilities and services to the real property, as required by the City's
Comprehensive Plan.
Section 5. Pursuant to ORS 222.125, the property described in Section 1 above,
shall be and hereby is, annexed to and made part of the City of Central Point, Oregon.
Section 6. The City Administrator, or his designee, shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Oregon Secretary of State, and this annexation shall be effective when
filed with the Oregon Secretary of State pursuant to ORS. 222.180.
