The Common Council met in adjourned regular session with Mayor Mason presiding.
Roll call found: Ayers, Bigham, Chisum, Colley, Patterson, Saxbury,present.
Absent: none.
The Recorder and Attorney reported the results of a telephone conversation
by the Recorder with Mr. Francis Cheney. Mr. Cheney
stated
that he had the
State
Fire Marshal inspect his burner and found it to be in
good condition.
The Fire Marshall told Mr. Cheney he would check burners in
the Springfield
and
Eugene areas.
The minutes of the previous meetings were read and a motion

Chisum, the minutes be approved. Motion carried.

Frank Bruce presented a petition to the City Council
for the annexation
of certain properties on the southerly boundaries of
the City of Central
Point. A motion "a made by Ayers, second by Bightum
that the petition
be accepted, and that the recorder and attorney proceed with the necessary
steps for annexation. Motion carried.

The Council approved changing the fee for building permits from $2.00 per
thousand to $3.00 per thousand. The extra amount to be used for paying the
building inspector. The change to take effect immediately. The attorney
was instructed to make the necessary changes in the Ordinance.
A motion was made by Colley second by Patterson that the Resolution # /�17
for vacation of the alley in Block #6 of the Pattison Addition be approved.
Roll call: Ayes; Ayera,Bigham,Chisum,Colley,Patterson and Saxbury.
Since there "a no further business, a motion was made by Saxbury,second by
Chisum that the meeting be adjourned to the call of the Mayor. Motion carried.
