The Council instructed the recorder to sell the car for a minimum of $500.00. A motion was made by Patterso0:second by Colley that the Council approve the vacation of the alley in Block 8 of Pattison Addition. Motion Carried. ' The Council discussed the fire and also Comprehensive and Liability Insurance policies of the City. A motion "a made by Colley, second by Patterson that the Recorder contact Margaret Naples and also insurance companies regards the status of policies now in effect. Motion carried. A motion was made by Patterson second by Ayres, that the Mayor appoint a committee to meet and work out a program for the meeting with the Crescent City regards the Winnemucca to the Sea program. Motion carried. The Mayor appointed Bill Colley and himself to work with the Recorder to have a program ready. A group of petitions were presented to the Council requesting the Council to cause to be placed on the ballot the question of whether the people favor the construction of and indicating whether or not the City should bond for this construction. The Council studied the petitions and referred them to Mr. Blackhurst for more study. Mr. Blackhurst read Ordinance No. 559xthis being and Ordinance providing for the creation of the"South Second Street (Pine to Bush) Curb Improvement Fund -11 A motion "a made by Ayres.second by Sazbury, that the Ordinance No. 550 be adopted. Roll call Vote: Ayes; Ayres, Colley, Patterson, Saxbury. Noyes; None. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 558 duly adopted. Mr. Blackhurat read Ordinance No. 580, this being an Ordinance providing for the creation of the "Hazel Street (Third Street to Tenth Street Improvement Fund." A motion was made by Patterson, second by Saxbury, that Ordinance No. 580 be adopted. Roll call vote: Ayes;A7res9Colleyj Patterson, Saxhury. Noyes: None. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 509 duly adopted. 482 Mr. Blackhurat read Ordinance No. 561 1 this being an Ordinance providing for the creation of the "South Second Street ( Pine Street to Rush Street) Paving Improvement Fund." A motion was made by Ayres, second by Saxbury second by Colley that Ordinance No.561- be adopted. Roll call vote: Ayres, Colley, Patterson, Saxbury;Ayes. Noyes; none. Mr. Blackhurat read Ordinance No. 562, this being an Ordinance providing for the creation of the "Third Street (Pine Street to Oak Street) Improvement Fund." A motion was made by Saxbury second by Patterson that Ordinance No. 562 be adopted. Roll call vote: Ayes; Ayres, Colley, Patterson, Saxbury. Noyes; none. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 562 duly adopted. Mr. Blackhurat read Ordinance No. 563, this being an Ordinance providing for the creation of the "First Street ( Pine to Oak Street) Improvement Fund." A motion was made by Ayres, second by Colley that Ordinance No. 563 be adopted. Roll call vote; Ayes; Ayres, Colley, Patterson, Saxbury. Nayesp none,Motioncarried, Ordinance No. 563 declared duly adopted. Ordinance No, 564 was read, this being an Ordinance providing for the creation of the "Oak Street (Front to Seventh Street) Improvement Fund," A motion was made by Patterson, second by Colley that Ordinance No. 564 be adopted. Roll call vote: Ayes; Ayres,Colley, Patterson, Saxbury. oNoyes; none. Motion carried, Ordinance No. 564 adopted. The Council requested that the new Police car be marked.
