'the Common Council met in Special Adjourned session with Mayor Burton
presiding:
Present: Bigham Hill, Reed, Tonn. Absent: Marasco, Van Horn (who was
in th'e hospital. Also present: Tucker, Tate.
In the absence of City Recorder Zander, who was ill, the Mayor
appointed Mrs. Tate, Recorder Pro Tem.
Liquor license renewals were presented to the council for approval.
There being no problems with any of the applicants, a, motion was
made by Tonn; second Hill to approve the Liquor License applications
for Pioneer Cafe, Corner Club, Economy Market, Van Wey~s Market,
Faber~s Market, Three Boys Market, Central Point Grocery. All in
favor. .Motion carried.
Mr: Tucker reported the balance of the taxes on the former Norris
property-749 Laurel Street, were $149.37. He recommended these be
paid from the Contingency Fund.
Motion was made. by Bigham, second Tonn to pay-the $148.37 from the
Contingency Fund. Motion carried.
Mr.~Tucker reported the Administrative Committee had approved the
balance of the bills.

Motion was made by Hill, second Bigham to pay the bills. All: in
favor. Motion carried.
There being no further business, a motion was made by Hill, second
Torn to; adjourn to the next regular meeting or the call of•the Mayor.
Motion carried.
