Roll call found: Ayres, Holbrook, Mushaney, Tonn, '.Fucker arid`Walker; present. Absent: none. Also present: Mason. .Purpose of this meeting was to award Contract on the Tenth Street Water Line project. After discussion a motion was made by Ayres, second by Walker to award Contract to Don Hirschy in the amount of `6,393.00 on Alternate "A". . ~ Ordinance No. 859 was read, this being an Ordinance Authorizing and ~ directing the Mayor and Recorder to execute an agreement with Don Cr ~ Hirschy as described. therein. Motion by Holbrook, second by Tucker that Ordinance No. 859 be adopted. Roll call vote. ATl in favor. Ordinance No. 859 declared duly adopted. Mr.~Allsup came before the Council to discuss reconsideration of their. request for a Home Occupation at their resiaence on West Pine acid Glenn Way. Lenghty discussion. Mayor Bartley suggested that a. proper procedure be set up for the Planning Commission on the proper method of petitions presented to them. A motion was- made by Ayres, second by Tonn that the decision be tabled until the . next regular meeting when Attorney Mansfield would be present to clarify his opinion. All in favor. Motion carried. Mr. Bob Lee, Manager of the McB~ord Water Commission then came - before the Council to discuss a new twenty year Agreement on purchase of 4~Iater from Medford. He displayed a large map showing existing water system and projected development. After a through discussion the Council tentatively agreed to acdept the new Agreement with a suggested change in Section 2 of said agreement wherein Vendor agrees to furnish water availabl-e not to exceed 4 million gallons per day instead of 3 million as outlined. Mr. Chris Hagler and Dennis Hagler, Dog Control Officers for Jackson . County then appeared before the Council to answer any questions the • ~ Council might have on the dog problems in Central Point, Question and • answer period. Mr. Hagler explained the problems of a Dog Control Officer very throughly. No decisions were reacheat. - • A tentative meeting with the Sanitary Authority was set for February • 21st,. 7:30 P. M, at City Hall-. • Motion by Mushaney, second by Ayres that the meeting be adjourned to - the'call of the Mayor.
