Flower baskets will consist of Surfinia Petunias and will be hung with wrought iron hangers that are connected with ban clamps (300 Ib. Test). Four Seasons Nursery will hang all (32) baskets, water and maintain each basket on Pine Street Daily and 7 Baskets on South Hwy 99. They will weekly fertilize and apply insecticide as needed to all (20) baskets on Hwy 99. Four Seasons will alert the City of Central Point within 24 hours, if the watering system on Hwy 99 is not functioning to a level that is necessary to provide the best quality basket. Four Seasons will maintain the baskets with their own truck. The City of Central Point is NOT responsible for hanging, maintaining or taking down baskets with the exception of providing the automatic watering for the baskets on HWY 99. If any time the baskets need to be moved due to work on poles Four Seasons Nursery will take down and re -hang baskets as needed. Once the baskets go up they are the sole responsibility of Four Seasons Nursery, the only exception is the automatic watering done on Hwy 99. If a basket dies they will be replaced during the hanging period if stock is available, otherwise the City of central Point will not continue to be responsible for the maintenance costs. The baskets will hang on approved Pacific Power poles and Central Point poles approximately 13' from the ground. Baskets will be removed by Four Seasons Nursery on or near November 1 depending on weather. Pots and hangers will be stored by Four Seasons Nursery for the following year hanging period. Brackets will remain hanging on poles. A walk through will need to be completed with the City of central Point and Four Seasons Nursery before baskets are hung. Verifying approved Pacific Power and Central Point poles. A'� �\ pole addresses is required before the walk through. �� 0,;� PROGRAM RECCOMENDATIONS FOR CENTRAL POINT • Four Seasons will hang 32 baskets on Pine Street for a cost of $10,400 and 7 baskets on south Hwy 99 a cost of $2,275. A yearly confirmation is recommended by February. • Four Seasons will hang 20 baskets on north Hwy 99 for a total cost of $3,700. A yearly confirmation is recommended by February. Total cost for both HWY 99 and Pine Street baskets is: $16,375. An initial cost of $3,000 for 59 baskets will be paid on May 1 each year. A monthly maintenance fee of $2,675 is due on the first of each month thereafter with the final payment due no later than October 1. If the baskets are hung later than May 1 a prorated adjustment will take place.
