then put together a rough draft of park naming guidelines for the City of Central Point to

board wants the City to own the property and has agreed to write a letter for the City skate
park. They would like to partner with the.City in field maintenance and parking. They gym
would be used for park equipment storage for the City's Parks Department. The
• transportation facility would be at Hamrick Rd. and W. Vilas. Mack Lewis and his son's are
opening a skate board shop in Central Point in the old Ace Hardware location, so he has
decided that he will abstain from debate on the skate park but would still be a source for
information.

plans and completion is scheduled for the end of June 2001.

home with school students.
Carol Fischer requested Pfaff Park restrooms be open on during the day Saturdays and
Sundays. Bob Pierce will check on.
It was decided not to have a meeting in April as there would not be sufficient information
to update on the skate park, and to give members a chance to complete their
recommendations for the City's park naming guidelines. The next meeting has been
scheduled for May 17, 2001 at 6:00 p.m.
