Present and prospective patrons of the local telephone system will be ,pleased to read the following letter re- ceived afew days ago by T. M, Jones, Local agent of the company. An im- ' proved service has been promised for so long and so long have the promisee been unfalfilled that Mr. Jones finally took up the matter direct with the division superintendent and apparently with goad results.
