Herald / ~. » t .?°`(`113- !4 - To the People of Central Point and. ~ Vicinity: The~Home Telegraph and Telephone Co„ of Southern Oregon, is desirous, fur tyre benefit of their memhera, the ~ privilege of Celephone connection with ~ the subscribers of the Central Point Mutual Telephone system. As the Home system now ~ reaches a large number of telephone users throughout Southern Oregwr, who have exclusive Hume service, there is no questing but that the subscribers of the '.. Central Point Mutual system would likewise receive great benefit from the '"advantage of connection with the Home system. By an arrangement of this kind sub- acribers to the Centtal Point system I 'could talk to~subscribers of either thci >1'Tome or the Pacific systems, thereby increasing the value and scope of their ' telephone service ¢t no ndditional cost, and at the came time increasing the ~ revenue of the Mutual system. To set at rest the reports that have been circulated among the subscribers of the Mutual system, that it is impos- t sible to talk from your homes or plstcea of business over your present phones to ~ a telephone of the Home system, the I Horrte Telephone Co., has secured the I consent of lylr. Sanderson, of the Cen- teal Paint hotel, to install proper ap- paratus, by which 'connection may be made between the pxivate line of. the `hotel running to the Mutual central j office and the line of the Home system. j Upon testing this arrangement ivae found to work most satisfactorialy and l the }tome Telephone company now Makes great pleasure in offering, thro' ;the courtesy of Mr. Sanderson and the Mutual System, the opportm~ity of try- ; ing the connected service Cu nny Home ,subscriber: - IC is the object of the Rome Tele- i graph and Telephone Co., of Southern Oregon, to he able to make their ser- ~viee as extensive as possible which re- quirea Lhat we moat reach Cen teat Point, as well as all othervaUey"points.
