our community was decided on this i
week, as a result of which the pub- i
fishers of the Central Point newspapers ~
will unite to better achieve the object ~
for which the papers have been estab-. l
lished. e

had ignominousIy failed to uphold its s
good name ~ as a live, wide-awake e
newspaper, and F. H. Hull acceded
with the demand of a number of local i
business men, established the "South-
ern Uregon News," and proceeded, to ...
give Central Poirit one of the newsiest
and classi8st little periodicals pub- f'

hands, we readily agreed wlth the pro- _
gressive Mr. Hull that the field was
too small;_for two papers, .and Xlego- A
nations were entered into immediately
to unite the efforts .of the publishers
in 'the .publishing of one live paper, p
