,JUST A SUGGESTION.
rI E new proprietors of the
T IIERALU are new-comers in
this section and we are well
pleased in every respect with our
new home. We are pleased with
t°le climate and especially with
the penpie of this community. In
m lay respects Central Point is
one of tho finest little cities we
}lave ever seen. The local busi-
ness men impress us as being
broadminded, progressive and al-
wnvs ready to supportany under-
t.akinq or move that will assist in
the upbuildingof the community.
At present Central Point has
nn active commercial organization
a•t 1 that indicates that the town
ponple are not pulling together.
We wont to pe considered among
the list of "live wire" business
m+'n of the city. As evidence of.

~oint,•may we humbly suggest
that we get together at once to
organize for concerted action?
With apology to Editor $ull

make our city worth while and
in which we would be proud to
live. United we are power-di-
vided we accomplish naught-•-

SUCCESS?
Have You Ever Thought
o
How a stranger is impressed
the first time he attends a church
service in your town an.l discov-
ers that the ancient custom of
women wearing their hats during
divine service is still in vogue?
That it isn't so difficult to be a
booster after ail?
That Central Point stands a
ranting Good show of being put
on the map in bigger and bolder
type this year?
That a factory whistle in Cen-
tral Point would be welcome mu-
sic morning, noon and night?
That it is soma difficult to count
the teeth on a buzz saw going full
speed?
That a two-year old hen has
no teeth?
That Centrat Point wants a
creamery, a cannery and above
ail, a sugar factory?
'l hat Central Point will have
what it w:tnta if everybody helps
to organize a "booster" club?
"That the merchant with modern
ideas is a winner in any commun-
ity?
That Mayor Cowley will soon
issue the annual "clean up" prc-
clamation?
That the "snow man" has fal-
len in love with this section of
the country and is delaying the
arrival of "Spring"?
