By this means roo{n is h~, provided ,ior the new rural. fire truck which will be housed there. on Two of the new fire doors have on, been installed and the third one has Pp been ordered and is expected soon. tr- These doors are of a folding type, an `w~iuh, when a latch is tripped; rise he ~ Instantly and back overhead, being .i_ ~ carried with ball bearings in a spe- ill cial track and lifted by a big spring. this way there are no doors swing- n~ . 11e mg out onto the sidewalk which oy might cause injury to passersby. n_ Work of installing the new doors n_ was done by City Superintendent Art Rupp, assisted by frank 1lxiller ui, and members of the fire de~iart- ~g Inent. When completed the anew iy arrangement will be much snore so ~ convenient than the old wax.
