Jewett Name Central Point's new primary school building will. bear the name, H. P. Jewett, following action by the board of directors of School District 6 at their May meeting Monday evening. A letter from Central Point Parent-Teacher Association rec- ommending the naming of the school was read to board mem- bers. Mrs. , Stanley Parrish and Mrs. Chester Ashton, ingoing and retiring ~P-TA presidents, were in attendance. Board members cast a unars- imous vote that the school would bear the name.
