The name "Crater" was chosen a
principally because it was short, h
impartial, and suggestive of the one
landmark or scenic wonder associ- `C
ated throughout the state with I ~
southern Oregon,-- naYnely Crater ~ I

possibilities -for songs, yells, and for
team names such as "~'Jizard" .for a
