The-special telephone directory
for• customers of Pacific Tele-
phone's new dial office at Central
Paint will be in the mails early
next week. Central Point custom-
ers will also receive an eiglrt,-
page booklet containing informa-
tion about their new dial ser-
vice.
This was the announcement
today of J. H. Creager, Pacific
Telephone mnnnger.
The directories are for use
after the dial office is "cut" -into
service at 11 pan. 6aturday, April
2.
The new Central Point tele-
phones will have " 2-5" numbers
with a Normandy 4 (NO 4) pre-
fix. Creager points outs that the
"O" in Normandy is the lettrr
~,vhich appears with "M" and "N"
on the dial-not the figure "O"

Two preliminary plans for the
Central Point sehcx>1 were pre-
sented. 't'hese floor plane, both
based on the "finger" type ar-
rangement, would contain ap_
proximately 28,000 feet of floor
space. moth plans wern develop-
ed to allow for future expansion.
Keeney also presented the
