pentmenl has leased a plot of
ground on Heall Lane for de•
velopmenfa as a drill grounds.

ern Oregon Planing Mill Co. -
According to Chief Richard
Krupp, the drill grounds, when
completed, will coniain a smoke
chamber, drill tower, nil pit and
nn open drill' area fnr staging
practice fires.
Last Sunday, fire depnrlment
volunteers deercd and leveled
the ground. They also set up the
motel building whicb will be
used as a smoke chamber.
It is expected thin the drill
grounds will i>e completed in iwo
months.
