A letter- requesting the prom-
ised second meeting with the
Medford Water Commission and
n formal request that water serer
vice to the city of Central Point
be considered as one large con-
nect was ordered by city councl2-
men nt theiz` Monday evening
session at the city hall.
The action developed after n
letter was rand from the cam-
mission indicating that the Med-
ford group does not Intend to
attempt to adjust the new water
rote schedule to the city.
It was to be polntad out In
the letter that the present water
schedule is set up to take core
of the 20-year water bond in-
debtedness and that a change
would confuse the issue. Also, it
was to bo pointed out that. the
cost to the city would jump Prom
$1.00 to $1.75 under the new
schedule.

Otto Bohnert appeared belore
the cauncli and asked permission
to extend the water line on Tay-
-or road to his home on Grant
road. The extension was installed
by J. R. Krupp and Charles
Bateman to serve their homes.
Councilmen approved the re-
quest and pointed out that Boh-
nert would pay far the exPen-
sion attd that water would be
fnr domestic use onty. The ex-
tension was allowed since Boh-
ncrt has property adjoining the
city.
Ordinance 4'L0, establishing a
iflood relict sewer fund, was
read. The ordinance 33 desigrigd
to nliaw recent and disburse-
ment of federal flood rellaf.tunds
for the repair of the sewer lute
across Bear' creek.
Preparation of a new ordin-
ance which would revise part of
the city building code was dis,
cussed.
