One of the larQt~st 'roal estate
transactions in recent years in
Central Point was completed last
weekend with t}te sale of the
Cowloy building on the corner of
Second and line streets.
The two-story structure was
sold by John Cupp to the Crater
Investment Co., which is Bead-
ed by James W. Glenn as presi-
dent,
Purchase price of the building
was not released for publication..
Culp originally purchased the
~ butldtng in 19h5.
In recent months, the building
leas housed the following bus-
iness firms: Crater Departmont
Store, operated by James Glenn;
Crater Dry Goods, operated by
~ Mrs. D. T. Aurelson, and Valiey
' Billiards, operated by Leo
Phelps.
' The rear portion of t}io build-
' ing has boon used by Cupp as
S a furniture storage warehouse.
The upper floor of 'the building
has bQen vacant.
