Central Point is to have a hotel more
i in keeping with the needs of a tepidly
growir3g town according, to the plans
now being carried out .by .Dr. C. R.
• Ray, owner of the hotel huilding at
front and Pine. .As announced some
time ago, the building is being , thor-
• oyg ly overhauled and remodeled, and

The roof of the building is now being , I

at the same time. The .dining room :
will also be enlarged and new verandas
'built on three aides of the building. 1

,.public properly. A 1200 pound hotel ~
range has been ordered for the kitchen 1
:.and when the new hotel is ready to
.open a first class chef will be in charge ~

This is something the town has long E
.needed .and t}~e decision of Dr. Ray to ~
give the town a first class hostelry l
meets with the hearty approbation of s
every Central Pointer as well as with
:.the armyof traveling men who visit the t
town each week, c
