new water system and water- will be
turned into • the mains probabl}• hot
later than Saturday, June 25th. All
the machinery is now in order,, the

The citizens of Central Point are do-
ing nicely in the way of patronizing the
system,. teeny taps having been al-
ready placed and menu citizens asking
fox permits to do so. Everything
,points to success for the n:w :.ystem,
'and even before the winter season
many lawns around the homes of Cen-
tral Foint wilt fie wearing a green car-
!pet, while the-town itself will feel per-
~,fectly safe in regard to fire ~,rotectian.
~ Central Point is to be congratulated
upon the excellent showing :made in the
dine of ttiunietpal improvements during
the past year, and it is only fair to
}Iaeobson & Bade, the contractors, to say
that they have carried out their con-
tract to the letter and the system is
just what the people bought.
