A .realty deal of some importance
was closed last Saturday when W. A..
Cowley sold to A, W. Moon a ane-half
interest in the Cowley block at Second
and Pine streets. The bui}cling is of ;
reinforced concrete and is the largest
and mast substantial business building
In the city. The consideration in the ':
present deal has not been made public
lost is supposed to be in the neig}ibor-
huod of y10, 000.
Mr. Cowley originally intended to
finish all of the second floor cif the b„ild-
ing into ofl7ce suites, but recently the
owners have decided to finish a portion ;
of it as a public hall, 35x85 feet. This
hall will have in addition a large tian-
q yet room, lockers, etc. It will be
finished with first class hardwood floor
for dancing parties, etc., and will be ~
used for general public purposes. ~
